Zac serves as outside general counsel in corporate and commercial transactions, with a focus on technology-related transactions. As a strategic partner to firm clients, Zac regularly counsels entrepreneurial individuals and entities on the many challenges, issues, and opportunities companies face throughout the business lifecycle—from start-up to eventual exit.
He regularly advises companies, large and small, on matters involving the commercialization of intellectual property and the use of information technology in business, including structuring technology initiatives, negotiation, technology implementation and management of technology and intellectual property assets.
Zac regularly counsels entrepreneurial individuals and entities on all aspects of business and commerce including formation and structure, ownership, management and control, financing and capital, expansion and acquisition, sale and dissolution.
In addition, Zac has worked as an in-house lawyer (assistant general counsel for contracts and intellectual property) at a large private-equity owned healthcare diagnostics company, which informs his blend of legal and business strategy.
